If you are interested in being considered for adopting one of our puppies, the first place to start is by filling out an application on-line under the On-Line Applications section. Once the application is filled out, it will come straight to our e-mail address for review. Once approved as an adoption family, you will receive litter up-dates and notifications by e-mail. All applications are keep on file for one year. By filling out an application, this does not obligate you to purchase one of our puppies, nor does it obligate us to sell you one. We carefully screen potential families. We want our puppies to be as happy with their new families as they are with our family. Our hope is that they will bring years of wonderful companionship.
Benefits to adopting an adult dog:
Everyone loves a puppy, but as the dog grows older, there sometimes is a stigmatism associated with adopting an older dog. There are many benefits to adopting an older dog. Occasionally, we have adult dogs for adoption. Whether they are retiring show dogs, or puppies that had been saved as show potentials, now needing placement. They are all in need of loving caring homes. Other times, we might be fostering a dog from a rescue situation. Cost of adoption varies depending on level of training, age, money and time invested in rehab, etc.
Many of times, the dog will already be house trained, crate trained, leash walking trained, doggie door trained, have some basic obedience skills, be grooming compliant, shots up-to-date, possibly for up to 3 years, already be spayed or neutered, current on heartworm, flea, tick and worm preventatives. Please check our availability page for possible adult dogs for adoption.
